Letter to Tinubu

Mr. President

I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for your service to our country.

However, I feel concerned that certain policies or issues aren’t being addressed to the best of our nation’s interests. Specifically, I think the ₦150bn + adhoc costs being spent on the presidential jet, plus the billo₦s spent on ostentatious depreciating liabilities such as SUVs for NASS members, would have been better spent on providing renewable energy to drive industry in Nigeria – regardless of past or future budgets.

I believe it’s essential for us to work together to find solutions that benefit everyone, and not just party politics. In my opinion, every politician ought to be affluent enough not to draw any salary or regular allowances at hungry taxpayers’ expense.

Thank you for your consideration on these pressing matters.
