airpeace rush

Air Peace airlines has responded to a viral video showing passengers rushing and struggling to board one of its flights at Abuja airport. The airline attributed the delay to poor weather conditions caused by harmattan haze and fog, which reduced visibility and impacted flight operations nationwide. To minimize disruptions, Air Peace deployed three additional aircraft to Abuja to transport all passengers.

However, during the boarding process, passengers overwhelmed airport staff and rushed onto the airside, prompting duty managers and ramp officials to intervene and separate passengers by flight. Air Peace apologized for any inconvenience caused by the delays but condemned the misleading and false information spread through the viral video.

The airline’s Corporate Communications Head, Ejike Ndiulo, stated that the video was intentionally designed to mislead the public and cause confusion. He assured that the safety of passengers and crew remains Air Peace’s top priority and appreciated customers’ understanding and patience during this period.
