Yahaya Bello Saga

Although Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has since denied it for whatever reason, according to Vanguard Newspapers on Wednesday 18th September 2024, Yahaya Bello, ex-Kogi governor, did finally attempt to surrender himself to the EFCC on September 17th, but was turned away at the EFCC car park with a number of political allies. The EFCC then later made a show of attacking Kogi State govt house in Abuja with sporadic gunfire at midnight, apparently to prove to the public that it was them who arrested the former governor…
